WEDS WORK IT!

Wednesday is for Work Outs. When I work out, it may be a physical work out, or it may be a mental one. My struggle with my body size and image is deeply emotional. It is my relationship with myself that is expressed with food. I have to constantly remind myself that food is fuel.

Last week I started a private fitness community on G+. This is my second time doing a community like this. We are a small support group. We post a weekly progress picture, and try to check in every day. The community helps me stay on track. I have the privilege of moderating this community with Brian MedeirosTony Ng and Vic Kalchev . We each have our own unique fitness goals, and paths to get there. The community feels like a recipe exchange. We have tried many diets, plans, miracle supplements, and are still actively pursuing a healthier version of ourselves each day.


We slip up (me more often than others). We pick ourselves back up, and lend each other a virtual hand.  I am inviting anyone who is looking for a serious, yet friendly community, where we privately share our fitness goals, to join us. Please do not be discouraged by how “hard core” some of us may seem. We are all sharing the same struggle. I was over 212lbs not too many years ago. I am the size I am now because I have a better relationship with myself, both physically and mentally.
